Farrah Shunnarah Bridgmon
Ah, our fearless leader! Owner of yours truly, French & Towers Salon Co. For the past 13 years, Farrah has been the total definition of “all things hair”. She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in 2009 and began her career in Homewood. Her whole career, all Farrah has wanted was to open her own salon and return to her roots in Homewood; her dream finally came true.
Farrah has been educated by countless giants in the industry; and their exclusive techniques plus years of experience are what you get when you come to French & Towers. Master of all things blondes, fades and anything else your heart could desire, Farrah is the one, the only, Master Cosmetologist.
When Farrah is not doing hair, she enjoys exploring her city, traveling, and all things football!

Marlene Harb Shunnarah
Hot Momma! Marlene Shunnarah is - you guessed it - Farrah’s mother! Marlene has been in the game for over 40 years. Yeah, thats right - she’s a total hair gangster. Her career started in Buffalo, NY, where she was taught everything she knows. Marlene was a member of the New York State Cosmetology Association, New York State Hair Guild and judge/winner of countless hair and makeup competitions. She’s got decades of developed and valued technique sought after by industries all over the world. From magazine covers to teaching her daughter everything she knows, Marlene is the hair guru we all need in our lives.

Rodney Murray
Alabama born, Florida trained; Rodney brings in a wide range of skills to the salon. Coming from an arts and performance background has taught him a thing or two about how important the right look is to set the scene. After graduating from Paul Mitchell The School, his career has offered him amazing opportunities such as working on stage, styling for tv and world sporting events, and creating front covers for magazines; all while he cultivates and pursues his main passion in the industry...education. He has been a national educator for multiple brands focusing on both hair and the business side of the salon. He has a passion for extensions and cutting, but loves working in all aspects of the industry.
When he’s not making someone feel amazing in the salon; you can find him either nerding out with a board game, or working with a nationally competitive performance group! Rodney can’t wait to see you at the salon, and asks you to remember... “There is no such thing as being over-dressed!”

Roy Guira
A Cali boy, tryin’ his darnedest! Roy is California born, raised, and trained. With 20 years in the industry as of this year, you could say he’s a hair genius! The first few years of his career, he focused on barber and razor cutting. It wasn’t too long after, that he discovered his love for blonding.
Roy has made an appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills twice, and was one of Sacramento’s fashion police for the ABC affiliate in Sacramento. From there he spent 5 years on the board of directors from the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, and served as the first emcee for the Sacramento pride parade.
In his off time he enjoys spending time with his boyfriend Joshua and their 2 dogs, ChuckChuck and Winston while cooking and baking.

Kristen Contorno
She’s a superstar! Kristen began her beauty industry journey in 2017. She’s well known for her magic hands behind the shampoo bowl and her better-than-life blow outs. She has a passion for all things color and making people feel their best self.
Beyond her natural talent, Kristen has always taken a specialty in enhancing her education by taking extensive product knowledge courses so that she may always steer her clients in the right direction for their hair! Can you say smarty pants?!
When she’s not at work, you can find Kristen taking a fun weekend trip, listening to some good music at a concert, or catching some sunshine by the pool!

Annette Shunnarah
It's all in the family! Annette is a Level One stylist and our General Operations Manager. When she isn't at the front desk, she is behind the chair. Annette graduated from UAB with a BA in Studio Arts and thrives when she is able to apply creative concepts learned during her time in school to her client's hair desires.
What's her knack, you may ask? She particularly enjoys Foiling and Barber cutting, as well as cosmetics and makeup. From dimensional highlights to a sleek fade, or even a full face - she'll get you looking right.
In her spare time, Annette enjoys live music, outdoor activities, traveling, and watching her favorite football team on the weekends! #GoBills

Kathryn Critcher
Boss, up! Kat is the newest addition to our team. Kat is a Level One Stylist and Annette’s partner-in-crime behind the front desk!
Kat graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and has since been working in the beauty industry. For the past ten years, she has been behind the front desk managing and building relationships with clients; and while she has loved that, she recently discovered her passion behind the chair!
Kat has a heart for people, a kind spirit, and is easy to talk too. She loves to listen, bring a smile to your face and help you reach your beauty goals!
When Kat isn’t at work, you can find her by a bonfire, enjoying family and friends, or chilling with her pup, Josey!
